- Payment details (processed securely — we do not store full card/BVN details on our servers)

- Usage & transaction logs (login times, services used, payment history)
- Approximate location data (from IP address — used for fraud prevention)
2.3 Regulatory / Compliance Data (when required)
- Bank Verification Number (BVN)
- National Identification Number (NIN)
- Other KYC documents mandated by CBN or AML regulations
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create, verify identity, and manage your ReliefSub account
- To fetch real-time bills and process instant utility payments
- To send confirmations, receipts, low-balance alerts, and important service updates
- To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, unauthorized access, or suspicious activity
- To comply with CBN, NDPC, tax, and anti-money laundering obligations
- To analyze usage patterns, improve platform features, and fix technical issues
- To respond to your support queries, refunds, or complaints
4. Sharing Your Information
We share data only when necessary and under strict controls:
- With electricity distribution companies (DisCos), water boards, cable providers, and telcos to validate accounts and process bill payments
- With licensed payment processors, banks, and switches to complete secure transactions
- With regulatory bodies (CBN, NDPC, NFIU, etc.) when legally required
- With trusted service providers (cloud infrastructure, email/SMS delivery) bound by confidentiality and data protection agreements
- In case of merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with prior notice to users where feasible)
